Quick and Easy Removal of Songs on Your iPod

Erasing songs from your iPod is just as easy as adding songs to your iPod. All you’ll need is your iPod, your USB connector or iPod dock connected to your computer, and the iTunes program. To save time and get you erasing songs as soon as possible, I’ll assume that you have iTunes installed and have already used the software and iPod a few times already.

Open up iTunes and connect your iPod to your computer. In a few seconds the computer and iTunes should recognize the iPod and a little icon will show up in the iTunes menu. The menu is on the left hand side of the iTunes program and you should see a little iPod icon (if you have named your iPod that name will show up next to the icon). Click on this and you’ll now be browsing whatever files are on your iPod.

Under the iPod icon and iPod name in the same left menu you should see a few options depending on your iPod menu. The first one should be ‘Music’. If there are no sub menus under your iPod icon, click the small arrow to the right of the iPod icon and name to drop down the menu and see the sub menus.

Click on the music sub menu under the iPod and you’ll see your entire song collection that is currently on the iPod listed in the main screen of iTunes, to the right of the menu you’ve been using. From there you can select multiple songs or one at a time. Once selected you can right click or hit delete and iTunes will prompt you to confirm that you want to delete this file. Some versions of iTunes will give you the option to remove the file simply from the iPod or from your iTunes library as well. If you still want the song, but just not on your iPod, don’t select the option that would remove it from the library as well.

How to Prevent Your Computer from Virus

Software computer

You know the basics of computer virus protection — don’t
open email attachments’ from senders that you do not know.
If you follow this simple rule, your computer will be safer
than most.

But a few weeks ago, a computer worm called “sasser”, caused
havoc with Microsoft Windows computers throughout the world.

This sasser worm spread in a completely different way, not
bothering with email (the way most viruses spread) but
instead exploited a security hole in Microsoft Windows.

This security hole allowed any computer connected to the
internet to be infected. The worm spread and infected
computers almost invisibly, thus many people were caught by
surprise when their computer problems began.

A computer virus is a set of computer program instructions
that attaches itself to programs in other computers. Viruses
are often parts of documents that are transmitted as
attachments to e-mail messages. A worm is similar to a virus
but is a self-contained program that transports itself from
one computer to another through networks.

The most obvious symptom of sasser worm was that the
infected computer would automatically shut down – thus
making troubleshooting this worm a challenge to those
infected.

A Plan of Action for Small Business

One of the ways to prevent your computer from becoming
infected by a virus or worm like sasser would be by
installing a “firewall” on your computer system.

Any computer connected to the Internet, is vulnerable to
electronic worm or virus attacks. You are protecting your
computer system by setting a firewall between your computer
or networked computers (LAN) and the Internet.

A firewall examines, filters, and reports on the
appropriateness of all information that passes through your
computer network. A firewall may ensure that information
received from an outside source is as expected and does not
contain computer a virus or worm.

Mobile Phone

Recycling mobile phones is necessary because they have toxic elements in the circuit board that pollute the soil, underground water and play a wide role in increasing the globally warming. Throwing the mobile phone in the land may cause many harm to the nature and also they will increase the need for the basic raw materials needed to manufacture new mobile phones. Several surveys have revealed that in developed countries only 3% of the people contribute in recycling the mobile phones. Instead of keeping your mobile phones may be the LG, Nokia, Samsung or any other company phones in your drawer or cupboard give them to the mobile phone retailers or to the manufactures for recycling. recycle LG Optimus 2X mobile if they are in very bad condition, unused, old or broken. Recycle LG Optimus 2X mobile phones to reuse the useful parts in them.

When you give your LG Optimus 2X mobile phone for recycling the recycling company will take away the useful parts and then recycle the other pats to use them as a raw material to manufacture new mobile phones. Recycle LG Optimus 2X mobile phones and get paid for it from the retailers. Recycling of mobile phones helps to reduce the toxic waste being dumped in the land. Most of them keep their old mobile phones in the drawer and cupboard. This will increase the need for the basic raw materials needed to manufacture new mobile phones. The most important need for recycling is that it will reduce globalization by reducing the emission of green house gas in the atmosphere. Sell old mobile phones to the mobile retailers or the particular mobile manufactures and contribute to reduce globalization.

Computer

Computer viruses are mysterious and grab our attention. Every time a new virus hits, it makes the news as it spreads quickly.

Viruses can do anything from annoying the user to deleting your entire computer. With more computers are being connected to the Internet, viruses are very easy to be spread.

While computers will never be 100% secure, there are many steps that you can take to prevent your computer from being infected with viruses.

What is a Computer Virus?

A computer virus is basically a malicious computer code that either harms computer data by writing over reserved areas of the operating system or attaches itself to other programs.

Viruses can infect computer files, programs, and write over parts of files. Viruses are also able to delete files from removable disk media (e.g. floppy diskettes, zip disks) or the hard drive.

More recent viruses take advantage of vulnerabilities in e-mail programs. These new viruses are written to not only damage your computer, but (with certain software configurations) also send a copy of the virus-contaminated document to all entries in the e-mail program’s address book. Viruses can be transmitted through any platform – Macintosh, Windows, Linux, etc…

Viruses spread from computer system to computer system, usually by removable disk media, via e-mail and downloads.

Computers connected to a network are even more susceptible because newer viruses are written to spread through the network, infecting files on all connected computers.

While some viruses can be removed with antivirus programs, it is recommended that you keep two backup copies of your important files, thus increasing your chances to have a clean copy available in the event a virus infects a file.
